AskGermany is a prototype. This notice describes how the service handles data. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer.

What AskGermany processes
When you ask a question, your browser sends the messages of the current conversation to the AskGermany server. The server forwards them to an AI model to write the answer, and sends search terms to a search service that finds official pages. AskGermany does not store conversations, questions or answers.
Service providers
- Vercel hosts the site (servers in Frankfurt) and briefly keeps technical access logs, including your IP address, to operate and secure it.
- OpenRouter routes your messages to the AI model that writes the answer.
- Keiro receives search terms, with recognised personal details removed, and returns official pages.
- Upstash stores expiring message counters to prevent abuse, keyed by a one-way hash of your network address, never the address itself.
Each provider processes data under its own terms and may keep it for a limited time.
What stays on your device
Your conversation exists only in the memory of your browser tab. AskGermany sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads fonts, images and logos from its own server.

Don’t share personal details in your questions. Close or reload the tab to end a conversation.
